In 2010, we will conduct another National Gaelic School following on from the success of our inaugural event last year.
CGA in conjunction with the Gaelic Society of Victoria are again supported by the Gaelic Society of WA, Coisir Ghàidhlig Astràilianach, Brisbane Gaels, Southerly Gaels, Ruth Lee Martin, School of Music, ANU and the ACT, South Australian and Tasmanian learner groups.
The Sgoil-Earraich Nàiseanta (Scottish Gaelic National Spring School) will be held at the School of Music, Australian National University, Canberra, from Friday evening 10 September to Sunday afternoon 12 September 2010.
CGA will be holding its AGM at the Sgoil, which provides an opportunity for you to join in the development of Gaelic in Australia.
Accommodation is provided at University House, ANU, cnr Balmain Cres. & Liversedge St, Acton, ACT
The cost of tuition, including lunch, morning and afternoon teas and entertainment, is $230 for members and $255 for non-members. Early bird cost if payment is received before 5 Aug 2010, is $200 for members and $225 for non-members
Twin share accommodation including breakfast for two nights is available at $150 per person, and it is recommended that participants live-in if possible, since much of the learning happens informally outside class time.
The small surcharge for non members gives you a year’s membership of CGA at a discount.

If you are unable to afford the fee, there is a single scholarship place available for one Gaelic learner and application can be made to the committee at our address below.
